Sunday School (All Ages)

Elementary Classroom (Grades K-5th): Classroom located in Christian Education Wing

Elementary-aged children are invited to join us every Sunday throughout the school year for a fun and engaging time of learning and growing as disciples of Jesus Christ. Classes are team-taught in rotation by volunteers who utilize the SPARK: Activate Faith curriculum, covering a broad range of biblical stories and themes throughout the year.

Feasting on God’s Word (teens and adults welcome) – Classroom located in Christian Education Wing

Using the 3-year cycle of the Revised Common Lectionary, the class looks at the scripture passages for Sunday Worship, staying 2-weeks ahead. Pastor Jason leads this reflection/discussion-based class utilizing a modified form of an ancient practice called “lectio divina” or “sacred reading”. The practice encourages participants to reflect prayerfully on the passages as they are read aloud, identifying words/phrases that resonate with each person, and reflect upon questions such as, “what might God be saying to us?”, “what might be God’s message to the church at this time in history?”, “what connections can you make between these readings?”,  “What’s the common thread or theme?” Join us anytime throughout the year!

Questions Class (Adults and older teens welcome) – Library (lower level)

Various topics on the Christian Life are studied and discussed throughout the year, often utilizing video-based series by contemporary scholars and theologians. For Fall 2024, the Questions Class will be watching a DVD series entitled: "The Lives of Great Christians" led by Professor William R. Cook, State University of New York at Geneseo. Newcomers are welcome anytime!
